PEM task: Precise centric lowering of the interlinked outer contour of the soft iron ring. The magnetic characteristics of the material must not be altered.
PEM solution: Stainless steel 1.4571 electrode, wire-EDM cut, generator current of 140 A, erosion depth of 2.50 mm, feed rate of 0.35 mm/min., machining time of 8 min., surface roughness of Ra < 0.2 µm.
